Standard terms begin with a $1,000 retainer and at least $1,000 in advanced fees. The typical hourly rate is approximately $150; your written agreement sets the terms for your matter.

If you receive an invoice, payment is due upon receipt. If you have any questions or concerns, or wish to discuss possibilities for payment, you must immediately notify me by calling 448.GUTH.LAW or emailing me at steven.guth@guthlawscw.com. Any payments thirty (30) days or more overdue shall begin to accrue interest at the rate of 12% annually. Unless proper notice of 24 hours is given, failure to attend a scheduled meeting can result in a charge up to and including the full valued amount of the missed appointment.

Cash or check in person are accepted, but I also accept credit/ debit card (tap or chip or online), or Venmo. If you are interested in other online payment methods, please ask. Checks may be made out to Guth Law SCW.

There is a small transaction fee for all credit/ debit card and all online transactions, except Venmo.
