I’m Steven D. Guth, a Wisconsin attorney based in Monroe. I work with people across Green, Lafayette, Rock, Iowa, and Grant counties on family and children’s law matters, including divorce, custody, placement, guardianship, and related issues. I earned my J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2025,, with a curricular emphasis in family law, cum laude. Before law school, I worked in factories and facilities maintenance for many years.

I have lived many lives; some were good and some difficult. Those experiences shape how I listen, explain options, and advocate for people who feel unheard. When I say “I understand,” I do not claim to know your exact situation. I mean that I will take the time to understand what matters to you.

  • I have traveled through America and Europe and firmly believe South Central Wisconsin is about as good as it gets; sure, visiting other places is fun - but there’s no place like home

  • I believe in honest pay for honest work - and I take great pride in my work

  • I am a husband to my 2nd wife

  • I am the father to 6 kids and step-father to 4 step-kids

  • I am a very Proud father to my transgender son and non-binary step-child

  • I manage multiple physical and mental disabilities and mood disorders
